Best Call of Duty settings

Starting sensitivity

4.0 - 7.0 at 800 DPI

Call of Duty plays faster than CS2 or Valorant, with more movement and a wider spread of fight distances. Sensitivity scaling can change between yearly releases, so check your setting when a new title launches and use the converter when you move between CoD and other shooters.

FOV

100-110 FOV is standard in Call of Duty. The default 80 is too narrow for Warzone, where threats come from every side. Higher FOV makes enemies look smaller at range, so don't go past 110 unless you mostly fight up close.

Modern Warfare 4 PC requirements

Activision describes the recommended specs as enough for 90 FPS in multiplayer on High settings.

  • TPM 2.0

Required. In Windows, press Win+R, type tpm.msc and check that the status says the TPM is ready and the specification version is 2.0. If no TPM is found, turn on fTPM (AMD) or PTT (Intel) in your BIOS.

  • Secure Boot

Required. Press Win+R, type msinfo32 and look for Secure Boot State under System Summary. If it says Off, enable Secure Boot in your BIOS, which usually also needs UEFI boot mode.

  • AVX

Activision supports only Intel and AMD CPUs with the AVX instruction set. Intel Core and AMD Ryzen CPUs have it, but some older Pentium and Celeron models don't.
