eDPI calculator
eDPI is your DPI times your in-game sensitivity. Enter both and pick a game to get eDPI, cm/360 and in/360, plus the same sensitivity in the other 12 supported games.

Your eDPI
800 DPI 1 sens in Counter-Strike 2
- cm/360 in Counter-Strike 2
- 52
- in/360 in Counter-Strike 2
- 20.5
Your 800 eDPI is inside the 600-1,200 eDPI range Mansone lists for Counter-Strike 2.
Same cm/360 in every game
Every row turns your view 360 degrees in 52 cm (20.5 in) at 800 DPI. The eDPI differs because each game has its own yaw, so compare eDPI only with players in the same game.
| Game | Sensitivity | eDPI |
|---|---|---|
| Apex Legends | 1 | 800 |
| Call of Duty | 3.333 | 2,667 |
| Counter-Strike 2your game | 1 | 800 |
| Deadlock | 0.5 | 400 |
| Escape from Tarkov | 0.176 | 141 |
| Fortnite | 3.96 | 3,168 |
| Marvel Rivals | 1.257 | 1,006 |
| Overwatch 2 | 3.333 | 2,667 |
| PUBGapproximate | 9.901 | 7,921 |
| Rainbow Six Siege | 3.839 | 3,072 |
| Rust | 0.196 | 156 |
| The Finals | 22 | 17,600 |
| Valorant | 0.314 | 251 |
Hipfire sensitivity only. Scoped and ADS multipliers and in-game FOV are not included. PUBG's slider is not linear, so its row is approximate.
Pro settings for Counter-Strike 2
Mansone lists 0.75 to 1.5 at 800 DPI (600-1,200 eDPI). Pros listed:
- s1mple400 DPI × 3.09
- 1,236 eDPI
- ZywOo400 DPI × 1.9
- 760 eDPI
- donk800 DPI × 1.25
- 1,000 eDPI
According to prosettings.net, checked September 2026. Pro settings change often and vary a lot between players, so treat them as a starting point.

What eDPI is
Your DPI multiplied by your in-game sensitivity.
eDPI, short for effective DPI, is your mouse DPI multiplied by your in-game sensitivity. 800 DPI at 0.4 sensitivity in Valorant is 320 eDPI. It is one number for how fast your mouse turns the view in a single game, which makes it the number to keep when you change DPI and the number to compare with another player's settings in that same game.
Different DPI and sensitivity pairs can land on the same eDPI. 400 DPI at 2.0 sens and 800 DPI at 1.0 sens are both 800 eDPI, so in any one game they turn the view the same distance for the same hand movement. To change DPI and keep your eDPI, use the DPI converter.
Why eDPI only compares within one game
cm/360 is the number that works across games.
Each game turns the view by a different amount per mouse count. That amount is the game's yaw: 0.07 degrees in Valorant and 0.022 in Counter-Strike 2. eDPI leaves yaw out, so the same eDPI is a different turn speed in a different game.
cm/360 is the centimeters of mouse travel for one full turn, and it includes yaw: 360 × 2.54 ÷ (eDPI × yaw). Because it is a physical distance, it stays the same when you move a setup from one game to another. in/360 is the same distance in inches.
Worked example
Real numbers from this calculator, all at 800 DPI.
| Setup | Sens | eDPI | cm/360 | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Valorant | 0.4 | 320 | 40.8 | 16.1 |
| CS2, converted | 1.273 | 1,018 | 40.8 | 16.1 |
| CS2, same eDPI | 0.4 | 320 | 129.9 | 51.1 |
Valorant at 0.4 and CS2 at 1.273 are the same speed. Both take 40.8 cm of mouse travel to turn 360 degrees, even though the eDPI is 320 in one game and 1,018 in the other.
Copy the 320 eDPI into CS2 instead (sens 0.4) and a full turn takes 129.9 cm, about 3.2 times the distance, because Valorant's yaw is 3.2 times CS2's. To convert your own settings, use the sensitivity converter. The blog post Mouse Sensitivity vs. eDPI covers the same idea in more detail.
How the calculator works
Formulas, sources and limits.
- eDPI = DPI × sensitivity, rounded to a whole number.
- cm/360 = 360 × 2.54 ÷ (DPI × sensitivity × yaw), rounded to 0.1. in/360 = cm/360 ÷ 2.54.
- Matching sensitivity in another game = your sensitivity × your game's yaw ÷ the other game's yaw. That game's eDPI is the matching sensitivity × your DPI. Yaw values are the ones the sensitivity converter uses.
- Pro eDPI is each pro's listed DPI × sensitivity. The pro settings come from prosettings.net, checked September 2026, and are listed for Counter-Strike 2, Valorant and Apex Legends. Fortnite pros are listed as a percent sensitivity and Call of Duty pros as controller sensitivity, so neither has an eDPI to compare.
- Results are for hipfire. Scoped and ADS multipliers and in-game FOV are not included, and PUBG's sensitivity slider is not linear, so its row is approximate.
- Battlefield 6, ARC Raiders, Delta Force and Splitgate are not included because one yaw value cannot describe how their hipfire sensitivity works.
